Make Your Impact with American Legends
Empowering the Next Generation
The American Legends Softball Organization is a youth softball program dedicated to providing girls the opportunity to build self-esteem and develop teamwork skills through competitive softball. Our goal is to enhance each player's softball skills to their fullest potential by challenging each player to be the best she is willing to be. This is accomplished by the development of our players through fundamentals, expert instruction, discipline, teaching sportsmanship and a true passion for the game, which enables the girls to become better, smarter, and more competitive softball players. A competitive athletic experience can instill a good work ethic, enhance social development, contribute to mental and physical health, and teach values of personal responsibility, self-discipline, self-motivation, and teamwork.
Every season is NOT just about wins and losses; it's about learning and improving on skills in every practice and game and adding new skills all the time. To quote John Wooden "You can lose when you outscore somebody in a game. And you can win when you are outscored." We believe success does not come from the wins and losses but from the basic fundamentals and skills each athlete acquires and uses in each game and practice. The American Legends will WIN WITH CLASS and LOSE WITH CLASS. A coach's responsibility is not just to teach athletes the skills of the game, they also must teach athletic skills that can be taken and used off the field.
